Season 6 splits the teams into two divisions: the Rookie division, for fresh teams that have not played in previous seasons; and the Veteran division, for redrafted teams carried over from previous divisions. There are 15 teams in the Rookies and 6 in the Veterans, with each team playing 10 games across the season. For the Veterans, this means each team plays every other team twice. For the Rookies, they play 10 of the other teams with one team sitting out on a bye in each round and a final 'bonus' round for only those teams who have had a bye.
At the end of the season, a playoff competition pits the top teams from each division against each other to determine the true champion.
